Zuiunji temple in Kamisoga, Odawara, is famous as a place that has beautiful weeping plum trees. In the end of February, the trees were in full bloom.
This temple was built on Soga hills in 1492, and has about 50 plum trees since around 50 years ago. They were planted by people in this area to make visitorsto Soga enjoy the plum flowers. Still now the weeping plum trees are welcoming people in the entrance.
The chief priest of Zuiunjisaid, "more than 20,000 people visit here to take photos although the full bloom of weeping plum trees is for a week. I hope many people come and enjoy the plum flower.
