A student reusing wallpaper to make a bottle
A workshop to make a bottle with scrap materials was held in Sakurai elementary school in Odawara on October 7th. 6th grade students joined the event and enjoyed making their own bottles.
This workshop was planned by Youth Division of Odawara city and some companies for giving children some opportunities to study SDGs that is "Sustainable Development Goals" set by the United Nations.
Students draw pictures and wrote down their names on scrap materials, and attached them on tumblers. Then, they put water in the tumblers and had a fun.
During the workshop, children earnestly learned how to reuse wallpaper and reduce plastic waste.
