It is the first time for Gault & Millau GUIDE JAPAN to show us restaurants in Kanagawa. Among 6 restaurants in Kanagawa that are listed on it, MECIMO is the only French restaurant.MECIMO has got 14.5points of 20points, and is praised for its cuisine which makes us feel its chef's personality.
MECIMO was established in 2018, and a chef, Takuma Kuzukubo, 37, and a sommelier, Yoshinori Yamamoto, 36, have been managing. They have cooked in Tokyo and France, and served French cuisines made of fish, vegetables and orangesfrom the Odawara area.
It was so surprising for both that Gault & Millau introduced their restaurants. "They seem to be willing to supportthe younger like us. It has made me to want to know more French cooking", Kuzukubo said. Yamamoto mentioned, "The food and culture of this area are attractive. I hope everyone enjoys our cuisines and the atmosphere of this city".
